Brand creation

A new business needs more than a logo. Brand creation connects a clear audience and offer to a name, voice, visual identity and first useful applications. We shape the decisions in sequence so the launch feels coherent in English, Spanish and any other agreed market language.

Give a new brand a usable beginning

Define the first audience, naming criteria and launch channels. Inspect the new-school naming and web case, then scope the applications your launch actually needs.

What the scope can include

We shape the engagement around the actual brief. The proposal identifies which of these deliverables are included, who supplies the inputs and how each one is accepted.

  • Audience, offer and positioning brief
  • Naming territories and shortlist when included
  • Visual and verbal identity system
  • Launch applications and website priorities
  • Usage files and handover checklist
02

Is this the right starting point?

Choose brand creation when the organization or offer is new. If an established business already has recognition to protect, start with a refresh, repositioning diagnosis or rebrand instead. Naming clearance and trademark registration require qualified legal review.

03

From first proposition to launch assets

We define audience, offer and difference, then develop name and identity directions against that brief. Real launch uses, not only presentation mockups, guide the final system.

Share the business model, launch markets, existing names and first channels. We specify what Dardo produces, what the client supplies and who handles legal checks, content and website implementation.

04

Make the founding decisions before drawing the mark

A new brand begins with an audience, a real offer and a reason to choose it. We define the category, promise, tone, future extensions and first channels. If the organization is still testing its product or customer, the identity brief must say so; a large system built on an untested proposition can become expensive to change. The first milestone is a shared decision record, not a page of logo options.

Naming, when included, follows explicit criteria for pronunciation, writing, distinction and use across intended languages. Public web and domain checks can reveal practical conflicts, but trademark clearance belongs with qualified legal advisers in the relevant jurisdictions. The final name is approved only after the client completes its agreed checks.

05

Build a usable identity and launch it consistently

We connect verbal identity, visual language and real applications: website, presentation, social profile, product interface, signage or packaging as the brief requires. Each direction is tested on representative uses and translated or adapted with a responsible reviewer for each launch language. Deliverables can include source files, usage rules, key templates and a plan for the first public touchpoints.

The estimate separates strategy, naming, identity, copy, website, production and rollout so the client can prioritize. Dardo's published A medio tono project is relevant evidence for naming and a website for a new school. It does not prove that every application listed here was delivered in that case. We scope each new project against its own channels, owner and acceptance checks.

Questions before you choose

What does brand creation include?

A proposal can include positioning, naming, voice, visual identity and launch applications. We name the exact deliverables, languages, production partners and decision rounds before work starts.

Can Dardo clear or register the brand name?

Dardo can support creative and practical checks. Qualified legal advisers must assess trademark registrability and freedom to use in the relevant markets.

Do we need a website at the same time?

Only if it is a priority launch channel. The identity and website are separately scoped, but their content and design should share the same approved position.
