How much does Dardo cost?

Dardo publishes starting prices in US dollars for monthly plans and audits, and quotes brand, website and product projects per scope. A starting price is the cost of the smallest version of that work; the final price is confirmed in writing after we see the site or brief.

Each service page describes the work in full: website maintenance plans, technical and monthly SEO, AI search optimization and the web accessibility audit. An accessibility audit is priced on the sample agreed first, as the W3C's evaluation methodology (WCAG-EM) sets out.

How are brand, website and product projects quoted?

Projects are quoted per scope after a short review of your brief, because the price follows the work, not the page count. A five-page site where every page needs its own layout can take more design than a thirty-page site built from three templates.

The inquiry form offers optional budget ranges: under USD 5,000, 5,000–15,000, 15,000–30,000, 30,000–60,000 and over 60,000. Choosing one helps us propose the right depth of work; it is not a price list, and there is no minimum budget. What moves a quote most:

  • Unique templates: how many pages need their own layout.
  • Content and translation: final text from your team costs less than writing or translation in scope, such as website copywriting.
  • Languages: each one gets its own URLs, metadata and reviewer, as on every multilingual website we plan.
  • Integrations: a form to one inbox is simple; a CRM, booking, payments or outside data is engineering work.
  • Migration: moving pages, redirects and content adds a URL-by-URL website migration plan.
  • Interaction: custom motion, 3D or interactive data.
  • Timeline: a fixed launch date is planned around from the start, with missing content listed as a dependency.

The custom web design page sets these factors out as less work and more work.

What does a Dardo proposal contain?

Every proposal is a written scope you can compare line by line with other quotes:

  • Discovery and design, development, content, third-party software and recurring costs (hosting, domains, licences), each as its own line
  • The deliverables, who supplies each input and how each one is accepted
  • The assumptions the price depends on, such as page inventory, languages and content readiness
  • Exclusions, so any addition is estimated before work on it starts
  • Payment stages and the currency
  • A timeline, once content, templates and integrations are known
  • The people doing the work, by name and role, and who owns each account and file at handover

Dardo is a team of three led by its founder, Nicolás Cerón, based in Bogotá (UTC−5 all year) and working in English and Spanish. The people named in the proposal are the people you talk to.

Which recurring and third-party costs should you budget for?

A launch price is not the full cost of a website: some costs recur whoever builds it, at each provider's own price. Dardo proposals list them as separate lines, never inside a project total:

  • Domain registration and its renewals
  • Hosting, or a platform plan such as Webflow or Shopify
  • CMS plans, font licences, stock images, plugins or apps
  • Outside services such as booking, CRM, payments or email sending
  • Care after launch, if you want it: maintenance from USD 79 a month, monthly SEO or AI visibility tracking from USD 299 a month

Compare renewal prices rather than introductory offers, and the cost over three years rather than the launch price alone. Our guide to what a website costs in Colombia lists dated domain, hosting and platform prices. We prefer those accounts in your company's name from the start, so ending an engagement never means losing access to your own site.

How to get a quote you can compare

Send every studio on your shortlist the same brief, then compare scope before price. If two quotes are far apart, check that they cover the same work. A brief that can get a firm quote covers:

Our free website brief and RFP builder writes that brief from your answers and exports it to Word, ready to send to every studio on your list.

  • The pages you expect, and which need their own layout
  • Languages, and who writes and reviews each one
  • Integrations: CRM, booking, payments, analytics or your own data
  • The existing site, content and URLs that have to move
  • Who supplies text, images and decisions, and by when
  • Your deadline and a budget range

Our guide on how to compare web design studios has the questions to ask every finalist and a scoring sheet. For search work, Google suggests asking any SEO provider whether they will share every change they make and how they measure success; Dardo's monthly SEO report marks each release and compares like-for-like periods against a baseline.

When is Dardo not the right budget fit?

If you need a standard site for a few thousand dollars or less, a template or site builder will usually serve you better than a custom studio. There is no minimum budget, but custom work includes discovery, design and development time that a template skips.

  • A template or site builder fits a standard structure, a tight budget and a team that wants to manage the site itself; our comparison of WordPress and custom websites explains when a theme is the better buy.
  • A content agency fits when you mainly need dozens of articles a month.
  • A larger agency fits when you need many specialists at once, or a long client list for procurement.
  • A smaller first step fits a limited budget: a single landing page, an audit, or a maintenance plan on your current site.

If your brief points to one of these, we would rather say so in our first reply than send a proposal that doesn't fit. Tell us what you are planning.

Questions before you choose

Is there a minimum budget to work with Dardo?

No. The inquiry form's lowest range is under USD 5,000, and choosing a range is optional. A small budget is best spent on a focused scope, such as a landing page, an audit or a maintenance plan, rather than a full site squeezed into it. If a template would serve you better, we say so before quoting.

Why doesn't Dardo publish fixed website packages?

Because the price follows the work, not a page count. A package adapts one template to fixed sections, which suits standard needs. Our projects vary in templates, content, languages, integrations and migration, so one package price would overcharge simple briefs or leave things out of complex ones. We publish starting prices where the work repeats: maintenance, monthly SEO and audits.

How are payments staged?

Each proposal sets the payment stages in writing: how many payments, when each one falls due and in which currency. Monthly plans are priced per month and audits are one-time fees. We don't publish a standard split for projects, because it follows each project's own stages.

What currency are Dardo's prices in?

US dollars. Every published price here is in USD, and each proposal states its currency in writing. Third-party costs such as domains, hosting or platform plans are set by their providers and listed on separate lines.

What does a USD 79 maintenance plan include?

USD 79 a month is the starting price of the Monitor tier: uptime, SSL, domain and form monitoring with alerts, backups with a periodic restore test, urgent security updates and a short monthly report. Maintain adds updates tested on staging, security scans and change hours; Evolve adds more design and development hours. Each price is confirmed after an initial audit.

Can we start with an audit before a bigger project?

Yes. Accessibility audits against WCAG 2.2 AA and AI visibility audits each start at USD 690; the W3C states that content conforming to WCAG 2.2 also conforms to 2.0 and 2.1. Every maintenance plan also begins with an initial audit. Fixes an audit recommends are quoted separately, so you decide with the findings in hand.

Is SEO included in the price of a new website?

Technical SEO foundations are part of every website we build: clean URLs, unique titles and descriptions, structured data, crawlable pages and language signals. Keyword research, content planning and ongoing work are scoped separately, with monthly SEO from USD 299 a month.

Do the monthly fees guarantee rankings or AI citations?

No. Google states that no one can guarantee a number-one ranking, and no one controls which sources an AI assistant cites. The fee pays for work under your control, done and checked: crawlable, indexable pages, accurate information about your business and a report against a baseline.
