The brief: one site for two ways of teaching
The school, started by Daniela Cárdenas and Gisselle Torres, teaches online and at students' homes in Bogotá and nearby areas, with formats that depend on each teacher's availability. It also helps academies and schools find music teachers. A visitor arrives with practical questions: which instrument, which teacher, online or at home, and how to start. The website had to answer those in that order, behind a pink, violet and yellow identity with plenty of personality.
What Dardo built
- Instrument pages at addresses like /clases/piano. A course page is published only when at least one teacher teaches it, so search visitors never land on an instrument nobody can teach.
- A teacher directory and profiles. On 12 October 2026 the site listed 34 teacher profiles and 20 instrument pages. Each profile shows the instrument, location and class formats, and its contact link opens WhatsApp with the teacher's name already in the message.
- Pages for each way of learning: online classes, home classes in Bogotá and preparation for university music admission.
- Free practice tools: a tuner with presets for Andean and Colombian instruments such as the tiple, bandola andina, charango and cuatro llanero; a metronome with presets for bambuco, cumbia, currulao and guabina; ear training, a circle of fifths and a voice-type test.
- Reference content: a blog of more than 200 articles, a music glossary and chord and scale dictionaries.
- A section for academies and a teacher job posting marked up with JobPosting structured data. Lead and application forms send email through Cloudflare's email service.
Stack and languages
The site runs on Next.js 16 with React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4, deployed on Cloudflare Workers through OpenNext, with a front Worker that serves prerendered pages and caches optimized images. It moved from Vercel to Cloudflare on 30 September 2026 and measures visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. Spanish is the default language; English, Portuguese and French followed on 2 October 2026, each with its own URLs and hreflang links, the way we plan every multilingual website.
Search and AI discoverability
Search work ran alongside the build as part of Dardo's SEO and AI search optimization scope.
- An XML sitemap of 2,144 URLs with hreflang alternates for every language, checked on 12 October 2026.
- A sitemap-wide checker validates each page's canonical URL, title, H1, structured data and internal links; a full crawl of 2,148 pages passed on 3 October 2026.
- IndexNow submission on every deploy, so Bing and other participating engines hear about new pages right away.
- llms.txt and llms-full.txt, Markdown copies for agents that ask for them, and a read-only MCP server at /mcp that lets AI assistants search the site, find teachers and get the school's WhatsApp link.
Results so far: Google Search Console
Between 30 June and 29 September 2026 the site earned 354 impressions and 34 clicks in Google, at an average position of 6.5. Between 1 and 9 October 2026, after the move to Cloudflare and the launch in four languages, it earned about 55,000 impressions and 416 clicks at an average position of 7.9. Most of those impressions came from Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Argentina and Portugal. The most recent days in Search Console can still be revised.
Choose an instrument. Find a teacher. Start the conversation.
On 27 September 2026 we followed the Piano course link from the homepage. It opened the teacher directory with curso=Piano in the URL, kept Piano in the course field and showed six matching teachers. Sara Alfonso's profile showed her instrument, location and class formats beside a contact link whose message already names her. The design decision is to carry the visitor's choice from one step to the next, so the school starts each conversation with context.
Implementation evidence
We checked the live domain, canonical URLs, robots file, sitemap and the four language versions on 12 October 2026, and reviewed the implementation behind them: course and teacher data, the language routing, the email and WhatsApp handoffs and the deployment workflow. The journey above was recorded on 27 September 2026 and is linked below as a dated JSON file.
Evidence and limits
The Search Console figures cover impressions and clicks in Google. This case study does not claim enrollments, bookings or revenue, which the school hasn't shared with us. The October window is short and recent, and Search Console alone can't separate the effect of the new languages from the move to Cloudflare or seasonal demand.
