What the scope can include
We shape the engagement around the actual brief. The proposal identifies which of these deliverables are included, who supplies the inputs and how each one is accepted.
- Current brand and touchpoint inventory
- Audience, positioning and message brief
- Naming decision and checks when in scope
- Visual and verbal system with usage rules
- Priority applications and website rollout
- Migration, launch and handover checklist
Is this the right starting point?
Choose a full rebrand when your offer, audience or position has changed enough that a new logo alone cannot explain it. If the strategy still works, an identity refresh or website redesign may be a smaller brief. The proposal identifies the boundaries before design starts.
From diagnosis to launch
We map what exists and define the decision, then develop the position, identity and priority applications. Reviews test each direction against the agreed audience and use cases before production begins.
Share the current brand, customer language, important assets, markets and target launch. The proposal separates strategy, creative work, website implementation and rollout responsibilities, with checkpoints for approval and handover.
Decide whether the business needs a rebrand or a focused refresh
First we map the current brand: audiences, offer, existing recognition, names, visual assets, language, website pages and channels. Interviews and available customer evidence identify what people understand today and what the business needs to communicate next. A change in company position or architecture may justify a rebrand; a dated logo on an otherwise clear offer may call for a smaller identity refresh.
The brief records what must be preserved, what can change and who makes the final decision. We do not promise a new identity will create revenue by itself. The useful output of diagnosis is a decision and a testable scope, including work deliberately left outside it.
Build a system that survives beyond the launch deck
Depending on the diagnosis, the scope can include positioning, message hierarchy, naming, verbal tone, identity directions and a production-ready system. Applications are chosen from actual use: proposals, social templates, packaging, signage, a website or a product interface. Each receives usage rules and files the client can operate, rather than only polished mockups.
If the name changes, domain and trademark questions need assigned owners and qualified review in each relevant jurisdiction. If the website changes, inventory important URLs, map redirects, preserve useful content and test the inquiry path in every launch language. A brand guide and a published site have different acceptance checks; the proposal names both.
Scope the rollout, people and budget drivers
The estimate separates research, strategic decisions, naming, identity, application production, website work and rollout support. Cost and timing depend on the number of audiences, decision makers, markets, languages, existing assets and production partners. A one-market visual refresh and a multi-market name change should not be compared by headline price alone.
A practical handover includes source files, usage guidance, approved copy, an application inventory and a launch checklist. Dardo's published A medio tono case shows naming, website design, development and SEO for a new school. It does not document a complete repositioning of an established company; request a proposal that describes the full scope and team for that need.
Questions before you choose
What is the difference between rebranding and a logo redesign?
Rebranding revisits position, meaning and the system across touchpoints. A logo redesign changes one visual element. Diagnosis determines which change is justified for your business.
How much does a rebrand cost?
There is no defensible universal price. We quote after mapping research, naming, languages, applications, website work, launch and decision rounds as separate parts of the brief.
Will our existing Google visibility survive a name change?
It needs an explicit migration plan: inventory existing pages, map redirects, update branded references and measure indexed URLs and inquiries after launch. No studio can guarantee identical rankings.
