Before design
Export or list the existing URLs, important downloads and contact destinations. Identify pages that bring inquiries and content that must remain accessible. Decide which URLs stay, which move and which are intentionally retired.
Before launch
Check redirects, page titles, forms, language links, mobile layouts and image loading on the actual deployment. Submit an authorized test inquiry and verify its receipt. Keep the previous deployment available as a recovery point.
After launch
Inspect the live destination rather than relying only on a successful build. Check errors, inquiry delivery and important old URLs. Assign someone to review new indexing and traffic data, and distinguish migration defects from a new round of design changes.
