HubSpot CMS vs Webflow for a B2B marketing site: 2026 prices, CRM fit, speed and migration

HubSpot Content Hub Professional costs USD 5,400 a year; Webflow Premium USD 300 plus seats. CRM fit, real-user speed and a 3-year cost table.

The short answer

Choose HubSpot Content Hub when your marketing already runs on HubSpot and you want pages that change by CRM data, gated content for known contacts, and forms and attribution in one login. Most B2B sites need Professional, which HubSpot listed at USD 450 a month billed annually (USD 5,400 a year) with three core seats on 17 October 2026 (HubSpot pricing).

Choose Webflow when design freedom and running cost matter more. Premium costs USD 25 a month billed yearly, plus USD 15 a month for each content editor's seat (Webflow pricing). HubSpot's CRM still works with it through an official app and HubSpot's tracking code.

For the example site we price below, three years cost USD 16,200 on HubSpot and USD 1,980 on Webflow, or USD 12,744 once you add Webflow Optimize to match HubSpot's A/B testing and personalization. In real-user data for US sites, 80.2% of Webflow sites passed Core Web Vitals on mobile in September 2026, against 74.9% of HubSpot sites (HTTP Archive).

Every price here is a list price in US dollars, read from the vendors' pages on 17 October 2026, before tax.

HubSpot's pricing page shows prices in the visitor's local currency. We read the US dollar version, and HubSpot's page also publishes its offers as structured data (the annual and monthly prices below come from both).

What the tiers mean for a B2B site:

  • Starter's low price is an offer. The page says it's for new customers only and "available for a limited time", with USD 20 a seat crossed out. Ask what Starter costs at renewal before you budget for it.
  • Free and Starter stop at 30 website pages and 30 landing pages. A B2B site with product, solution, industry and resource pages passes that quickly, which is why Professional is the realistic entry point.
  • Professional adds the features that make HubSpot worth it: smart content for personalization, A/B and adaptive testing, memberships (two access groups), HubDB and dynamic pages, content staging, unlimited languages, AI translation, Search Console integration and contact create attribution.
  • Enterprise adds a core domain plus nine more root domains, content approvals, serverless functions and 100 membership access groups.
  • Seats follow your highest HubSpot product. HubSpot's FAQ says all core seats are priced by the highest edition across your subscription, so a company on Sales Hub Enterprise pays Enterprise seat prices for its content team too.
  • HubSpot Credits for AI features come included (500, 3,000 or 5,000 a month by edition), and extra credits cost USD 0.010 each.

The pricing page lists no onboarding fee for Content Hub. Ask the sales rep to confirm in writing whether one applies to your deal.

Two Webflow changes from 2026 matter in this comparison. CMS and Business were merged into Premium, which our Webflow pricing 2026 guide covers with renewal math. And the legacy Editor was fully retired on 5 October 2026, so everyone who edits the site now needs a seat (Webflow Help).

The CRM question: HubSpot pages or Webflow connected to HubSpot

This is usually the deciding factor. The two set-ups give marketing different things.

How Webflow connects to HubSpot

The HubSpot app in Webflow's marketplace offers three ways to connect forms:

  1. Native Webflow forms, styled in Webflow and mapped to HubSpot through HubSpot's non-HubSpot forms feature.
  2. A HubSpot iframe embed, styled in HubSpot's own style editor.
  3. HubSpot's developer code embed, which submits straight to HubSpot while you design the form visually in Webflow.

The listing has a catch: a HubSpot Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise plan is required for the app's new form-editor compatibility and embed-styling features. Teams on HubSpot's free CRM can still use the first route, since non-HubSpot forms work on every HubSpot plan.

That route has rules worth knowing before launch. HubSpot's non-HubSpot forms article says the tracking code must load on the page, every click on the submit button is recorded as a submission, hidden fields aren't collected, and forms inside iframes, on single-page apps or with JavaScript bound to the submit event aren't captured. An account can hold up to 10,000 non-HubSpot forms, after which HubSpot rejects new submissions.

The HubSpot tracking code works on any site, on every HubSpot plan. Add your Webflow domain in HubSpot's report settings so the pages show up in its analytics. Webflow allows custom code on paid site plans, which is where the tracking code goes.

If you're also deciding how to measure the site beyond the CRM, our comparison of PostHog and Google Analytics covers product and web analytics.

Editing for marketers

HubSpot gives editors a drag-and-drop editor inside the same account as email, CRM and reports. What they can change is set by the theme: developers define modules and their fields, and editors fill and arrange them. Professional adds content staging and a site tree, and Enterprise adds content approvals.

Webflow gives designers a visual canvas with full control of layout and styles. Since the legacy Editor's retirement, a limited seat can take one of two roles: Marketer, which builds pages from existing components, or Content editor, which edits text, CMS items and page settings without touching design (Webflow Help). Who may publish is a per-person setting.

In practice, HubSpot suits teams that want every page to look consistent and editors to stay inside guardrails. Webflow suits teams with a designer who changes layouts often and editors who are comfortable on a canvas.

The developer model

HubSpot sites are built as themes: a folder of templates, modules, CSS and JavaScript with a theme.json and fields.json. Templates use HubL, HubSpot's server-side templating language based on Jinja (HubSpot developer docs). Developers work locally and upload through the HubSpot CLI, since there's no SSH or FTP access, and newer React-based modules are edited only locally. HubDB tables and dynamic pages come with Professional; serverless functions need Enterprise.

Webflow generates the HTML and CSS from the Designer. Developers add custom code to pages, bring React components onto the canvas as code components on Premium, and read or write CMS content through the Data API, which allows 120 requests a minute on Premium (Webflow pricing). Exporting the code needs a paid Workspace plan and leaves the CMS content behind.

The practical difference: HubL is knowledge you only use on HubSpot, while most Webflow work is visual CSS and layout. Ask whoever will maintain the site which one they already know.

Speed: what real visitors experience

We pulled real-user Core Web Vitals from the HTTP Archive technology report, which aggregates Chrome UX Report data for every site it detects on each platform. The table shows the share of sites whose mobile visitors get good LCP, INP and CLS, for September 2026, the latest month published on 17 October 2026.

PlatformUS sites measuredPass all three, US mobilePass all three, worldwide mobileMedian mobile page weight, US

WordPress, for reference352,46862.0%48.3%3.10 MB (0.89 MB of JavaScript)

Sources: HTTP Archive Core Web Vitals and page weight endpoints, September 2026.

The gap is steady: from April to September 2026, US HubSpot sites stayed between 74.2% and 75.8% while Webflow rose from 77.5% to 80.2%. Two cautions apply. These averages describe the sites people built on each platform, not what a careful build can reach. And the scripts a marketing team adds, such as chat widgets, trackers and embedded forms, weigh on any platform: the JavaScript column is where to look first.

Our website platform speed report shows the same data by country and refreshes every month, and our guide to passing Core Web Vitals covers what to fix on either platform.

Three-year cost for one realistic B2B site

The example is a US B2B company with:

  • About 60 static pages, a blog of 200 posts and a few case studies, in English
  • About 20,000 page views a month, well under 50 GB of bandwidth
  • Three people in marketing: a lead who builds pages and two content editors
  • An outside developer or agency who builds and maintains the templates
  • HubSpot already in use as the CRM; its cost is the same either way, so it's left out

Annual billing, list prices on 17 October 2026. The build itself is left out because it depends on scope; our website cost calculator shows what published prices suggest for one.

What moves these numbers:

  • Monthly billing. HubSpot Professional paid monthly is USD 500 a month, or USD 18,000 over three years. Webflow monthly billing raises Premium to USD 39 and limited seats to USD 19.
  • HubSpot seat pricing. If your highest HubSpot product is Enterprise, every content seat is priced at Enterprise level.
  • Webflow's HubSpot app. Its form-styling features need Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise. Already paying for it? There's no extra cost. Not paying for it? Use native Webflow forms.
  • Traffic. Past 50 GB a month, Webflow Premium adds bandwidth in steps from USD 20 a month billed yearly.

If you don't need CRM-driven personalization, Webflow's running cost is about an eighth of HubSpot's. If you do, the gap narrows to about USD 3,500 over three years, and HubSpot does the personalization from CRM data that Webflow Optimize can't read.

Moving between them

Webflow to HubSpot

  1. Rebuild the templates as a HubSpot theme. HubSpot can't import page content: its website structure import brings each page's URL, title and meta description plus your navigation, up to 400 pages per import, and the pages arrive blank unless you assign a template.
  2. Move the blog. Export the Webflow Collection as CSV and use HubSpot's CSV import, or let Smart Copy read your live posts (HubSpot Knowledge Base).
  3. Recreate forms as HubSpot forms and remove any non-HubSpot form mappings.
  4. Upload redirects for every URL that changes. HubSpot takes a CSV of up to 500 redirects per upload, each URL up to 140 characters, and rejects the whole file if one row has an error (HubSpot Knowledge Base).

HubSpot also sells a Website Migration Service that moves existing content into a theme from its marketplace, according to its pricing FAQ.

HubSpot to Webflow

  1. Export everything first. HubSpot exports all pages, blog posts and templates as HTML, and blog posts as CSV or Excel, on every plan (HubSpot Knowledge Base).
  2. Import the blog into a Webflow Collection from CSV. Images imported by URL don't get responsive variants, file fields don't import, and reference fields match by slug (Webflow Help).
  3. Rebuild the pages in the Designer. Smart content has no direct equivalent: drop it, or rebuild the important variants in Optimize.
  4. Keep HubSpot as the CRM. Install the tracking code and connect forms through the app.
  5. Import redirects carefully. A Webflow CSV import replaces all existing redirects, so export the current list, add the new rows and import the combined file (Webflow Help).

Either way, map every old URL before launch. Our redirect map generator builds the list from your sitemap, and the website migration SEO checklist covers launch day and the weeks after.

What to do next

  1. Price your own seat mix on HubSpot's page in US dollars, and Webflow's with our Webflow pricing calculator.
  2. Check your country in the platform speed report.
  3. List which HubSpot features your team actually uses on pages today: smart content, memberships and A/B tests are the ones Webflow can't replace from CRM data.

Common questions

Is HubSpot CMS better than Webflow for SEO?

Neither platform ranks a page by itself. Both let you set titles and descriptions, generate an XML sitemap and add 301 redirects. In HTTP Archive's September 2026 data, US Webflow sites passed Core Web Vitals on mobile more often than HubSpot sites, 80.2% against 74.9%, but a careful build on either can pass. What you publish matters more than which of the two you pick.

Can I use HubSpot forms on a Webflow site?

Yes. Webflow's marketplace lists an official HubSpot app with three routes: native Webflow forms mapped through HubSpot's non-HubSpot forms feature, a HubSpot iframe embed, or HubSpot's developer code embed. The app's newer form-editor and styling features need Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise, while native forms with the tracking code work on any HubSpot plan.

How much does HubSpot CMS cost in 2026?

On 17 October 2026, Content Hub Professional listed at USD 450 a month billed annually, or USD 500 a month paid monthly on an annual commitment, with three core seats. Enterprise was USD 1,500 a month with five seats. Starter showed a new-customer promotion of USD 7 a seat a month against a USD 20 list price, but Free and Starter stop at 30 website pages.

Can I keep HubSpot as my CRM if I move the website to Webflow?

Yes. Install HubSpot's tracking code on the Webflow site, add the domain in HubSpot's report settings and connect forms through the HubSpot app. You keep contact records, page views and form submissions. You lose smart content driven by CRM data, memberships for HubSpot contacts and HubSpot's built-in page A/B tests.

Is Webflow cheaper than HubSpot?

For running costs, yes. In our example, Webflow Premium with two editor seats costs USD 1,980 over three years, against USD 16,200 for HubSpot Content Hub Professional. Adding Webflow Optimize for A/B testing and personalization brings Webflow to USD 12,744. The cost of building the site is separate and depends on scope.

How do I migrate from HubSpot to Webflow without losing rankings?

Export pages, posts and templates from HubSpot first, import the blog into a Webflow Collection from CSV, rebuild the pages in the Designer and keep URLs wherever you can. Add a 301 redirect for every URL that changes. Webflow's CSV import replaces existing redirects, so merge the lists before importing, then watch Search Console in the weeks after launch.
