Choose the sales model before choosing the platform
If specifications, quantities or delivery terms change the price, a clear quote-request flow may serve the buyer better than a store with misleading fixed prices. If the products have stable prices, stock and delivery rules, a transactional store may be the appropriate scope. A catalogue can also be a deliberate first phase, provided its pages explain how to request availability or a proposal. Ask the business to decide which outcome the website is responsible for producing.
São Paulo Expo's official exhibitor page describes its exhibition infrastructure and brand-activation spaces. That supports a concrete planning scenario: a business exhibiting there may need a visitor to continue the conversation after the stand visit. It does not prove that every São Paulo business needs event marketing. For that scenario, map the product page, downloadable information, inquiry and sales follow-up together before buying a generic set of website pages.
Make Portuguese specifications the content source of truth
For a Brazilian-facing catalogue, assign a reviewer who can approve the actual Portuguese terminology. Product dimensions, units, compatible parts, minimum quantities and service coverage should come from controlled business information, not be improvised by a translator or designer. Separate structured fields from the editorial description so that a change in a specification does not leave old values in several places. Explain which documents are current and who can publish replacements.
English and Spanish versions can support international buyers when the business can maintain and respond in those languages. Count translated specifications, inquiry states and confirmation messages, not just introductory paragraphs. A Portuguese query such as criação de sites São Paulo and an English-language procurement guide reach different audiences. This article is available in English and Spanish; it is not a substitute for Portuguese website production. Ask the chosen studio to identify the Portuguese content owner and review process in writing, including any work that must be supplied by the client.
Design a quote request that preserves the product context
A request that arrives as please contact me makes the salesperson reconstruct the visit. Keep the selected product, service or catalogue category attached to the inquiry. Ask for quantity, intended use or delivery region only when it changes the proposal. If the buyer can request several items, show a review step that lists them clearly. Do not turn a quotation basket into a checkout that implies a binding order when staff still need to confirm the terms.
Specify the destination of the record and who owns the response. Email notification and successful database receipt are different checks; verify both if both are promised. W3C's forms tutorial covers labels, instructions and feedback. Use those principles for field errors and successful submission, and test the flow on a phone. A WhatsApp link can be an additional contact channel, but the team should understand what context survives the handoff and how a resulting conversation is associated with the original request.
If you sell online, specify the entire payment lifecycle
A Pix logo does not describe an integration. Banco Central's Pix Cobrança material distinguishes issuing charges from the API functions used for settlement checking, reconciliation and returns. Ask the payment provider which capabilities are available to your business and which the website team will actually implement. Confirm charges and commercial conditions with that provider instead of assuming that every business use of Pix is free.
For a transaction, the scope needs pending, paid, expired, failed and refunded states where supported. A customer returning to a success page is not enough evidence that money settled; the system should use the provider's verified payment result. Have the team demonstrate a delayed confirmation and a repeated notification without creating duplicate orders. Keep the public product experience distinct from internal payment records. If your launch is quote-only, do not pay for a custom payment integration until the sales process requires it. This is an implementation brief, not advice about the business's financial arrangements.
Use an event campaign without creating disposable duplicate pages
Consider an illustrative São Paulo supplier preparing for an exhibition with twenty product families and a sales team that sends individual quotes. The useful scope is a maintainable catalogue, a focused event page, product-specific quote requests and a way to distinguish event referrals from other traffic. It does not automatically require twenty new landing pages repeating the same product description or a full online store.
The event page can explain the actual demonstration, dates approved by the organiser, stand details once confirmed and the relevant products. Link to the durable product pages. After the event, update the page to explain what happened or redirect it to a genuinely relevant permanent resource when appropriate; do not leave an expired invitation as if registration were open. This is an invented brief, not a claim about a particular exhibitor. Compare quotes on product data entry, photography, document preparation, translation, forms, sales routing and ongoing ownership, as well as visual design.
| Model | The site must deliver |
|---|---|
| Catalogue | Current specifications and a clear contact route |
| Quote request | Selected items and useful scope reach the sales team |
| Store | Verified payment and consistent order states |
Compare delivered responsibility, then verify the first useful lead
Ask whether the fee includes product modelling, content entry and integrations or just visual templates. Separate the initial project from hosting, software, support, payment-provider fees and future catalogue updates. Use one currency for comparison and record the exchange-rate date if a foreign proposal needs conversion. Do not treat an unsupported price range as a São Paulo market benchmark. A complete quote follows from the actual catalogue, sales process and ownership model.
Before acceptance, have an editor change a specification and publish the translated update. Submit a test quote with a selected item and verify that the sales system receives that item, language and original landing context. For a store, separately verify the payment and order state. Check keyboard use and mobile layouts. Verify local-office claims directly; this guide does not assert a São Paulo office for Dardo. After launch, count received, qualified and won opportunities separately, so a busy event campaign can be evaluated on suitable projects rather than visits alone.
