Brand & search

How a brand name and SEO work together

A memorable name and a useful search page do different jobs. Give each one a clear role so the brand can stand out while the website explains the offer.

01

Let the name carry the identity

The name does not need to contain every service or country you might eventually serve. Start with the promise, audience and associations you want to build. A distinctive name can sit beside a clear descriptor: the name creates recognition while the descriptor explains what the business does.

02

Give the services their own explanation

A service page should answer what the work includes, when it is appropriate, what the client needs to supply and what happens next. Use the words your customers use when they describe the problem. Related project evidence makes that explanation more concrete than repeating the service phrase across the page.

03

Keep the handoff between brand and website visible

For A medio tono, Dardo’s scope included naming and SEO alongside design and development. The musical name introduces a world; the website still needs to make instruments, courses and the path to a first class understandable. This is a useful division of responsibilities for a naming brief: what belongs in the name, and what belongs in the content?
