Separate the exported frontend from hosted features
Webflow supports HTML, CSS, JavaScript and asset export on eligible Workspace plans. CMS functionality, form processing and other hosted capabilities do not simply become a working independent application. Review the current export documentation and record each feature that needs a replacement.
Give content an editing home
Map collections, reference fields, rich text, images and locale variants to the destination content model. Test an ordinary entry and a difficult entry before bulk migration. Editors should be able to preview, correct and publish without depending on a developer for every wording change.
Compare the complete operating cost
Include rebuild effort, hosting, content editing, forms, search, localization and maintenance in the decision. Moving only to reduce a subscription can be a poor trade if routine updates become harder. A useful proposal makes those responsibilities and recurring costs visible.
