Hiring a studio

How to work with a remote web design studio

Remote delivery works when feedback, decisions and responsibilities are visible. The location of the team matters less than whether the project has a reliable way to move forward.

01

Agree on a review rhythm

Choose a regular review window using named time zones. Record walkthroughs for people who cannot attend. Gather feedback in one place and nominate a decision owner so conflicting comments do not silently become new requirements.

02

Make progress inspectable

Use a staging site and review complete journeys, not just screenshots. Ask to see how the mobile navigation, content editing and inquiry flow behave. Keep a short decision log explaining what was accepted and what still needs work.

03

Plan the handoff

Before launch, verify access to the repository, hosting, CMS and analytics accounts relevant to the scope. Walk through an ordinary content update together. Document emergency contact expectations without assuming that a remote studio provides continuous support.
